General Information
Cameroon is an important country in the CEMAC zone. It is a petroleum and gas producing country with an economy that is diversified compared to that of other countries in the zone, particularly focused on agricultural sectors such as cocoa, coffee, cotton, palm oil, and wood, and manufacturing sectors such as the textile industry.

Means of Payment & Banking Specificities

We recommend the use of a confirmed documentary credit payable upon receipt or in of 30 to 60 days. Payment delays are very frequent if transactions have not been secured by a banking guarantee. They are most often due to a currency issue (non-availability at the time of the transfer) but also to cash flow problems.
