The International Asia-Pacific Desk provides support to the Group’s clients in Australia by aiding their operations on location, particularly through financial advice, the provision of financing, as well as with information on local businesses, and, on a case-by-case basis, of commercial assistance. It draws on the Group’s business units and a frontline local partner bank.
For non-banking matters, the International Desk offers the support of its partners as well as expertise in business internationalisation.
General Information
The Australian legal framework is stable and clear and based on its English law heritage. The formalities of registering a business in Australia are simple. Even though it is possible to purchase a pre-established company or shelf company using legal or accounting firms, it is important to check that the business has never taken part in any commercial activity.
